WELCOME TO THE PORTSMOUTH IRISH SOCIETY WEBPAGE

WELCOME TO THE PORTSMOUTH IRISH SOCIETY WEBPAGE

*Open from Monday 17th May 2021 *

Well, moving slowly closer back to normality, from Monday we are allowed back inside, and the revised opening hours are below. We may change these with little notice however depending on patronage. Similarly, although we have extended closing time, we will shut earlier if there are few customers.

Government restrictions that we are obliged to observe are in place:

 The Rule of 6 (or 2 households) per table will apply.

 Table service only – you must be seated to order and drink.

 No mingling between tables.

 Face coverings must be worn when not seated.

 Follow the one-way system in place.

 Only two people to use the toilets at any time.

Details are required for Test & Trace. If you have renewed your membership, this will be recorded when you swipe your card on entry.

Maintain social distancing from those not in your group (2m unless mitigating circumstances, then 1m+)

The gaming machines, snooker, darts, and the adult pool table are available, but remember, face-coverings must be worn when not seated.

Even with all of these restrictions, we hope that we will see many of you enjoying a beverage inside the club for the first time in months. It will hopefully be for only a further 5 weeks or so when on 21st June all/most of the restrictions are lifted.

Despite these restrictions, we hope that many of you will now come and join us in the club.

We are adhering to strict government guidance in regards to social distancing. Signs are around the building with a one-way system and hand sanitizer around the building. We have table service only until further announcements come out.

Anyone not adhering to the rules will be asked to leave.

Please refer to the government guidelines at:
