Facilities

The facilities include a large function hall with its own bar and has over the years hosted numerous events and functions, pool, darts and table football.

Regular entertainment includes:

1. COMING SOON!! Thursday Evening Quiz followed by the Members Treasure Chest Draw
2. Friday Night Live Music in the members bar
3. Sunday Evening Meat Raffle and Bingo
4. Live Gaelic football Sunday afternoons
5. Irish Dancing. Children Monday Evening
6. Bingo Tuesday Nights

Please note – Due to current COVID19 restrictions, the amount of guests the hall can accommodate is limited. You will be advised when booking the limitations.

The Portsmouth Irish Society function hall can facilitate up to 170 people which will depend on the type of event you are having. It is the perfect setting whatever the occasion. It is used for a variety of functions: Weddings and wedding receptions, parties, christening , Baby showers and funerals wakes. Whatever the occasion we can provide our own in house catering from a buffet to a sit down meal. We are extremely proud of the function hall and have recently upgraded the stage area.

We do encourage people to come down and view the facilities but is best to book an appointment in advance.

All special occasions are tailor made and we will work with you to make the event really memorable. We can support you with a wealth of experience and the best of facilities.
